Russian River Valley, Sonoma County | Adam & Eve Redwoods Vineyard
WHY WE CHOSE THIS WINE
Langhart & Hill is a family-owned estate winery farming the Adam & Eve Redwoods Vineyard near the confluence of Dry Creek, the Russian River, and Mill Creek — one of the coolest, most complex microclimates in all of Sonoma. The vineyard grows three noble Pinot Noir clones (Pommard 4, Swan, and Dijon 115), a commitment to clonal diversity that translates directly to complexity in the glass. The 2022 earned a Gold Award and 94 points at the Harvest Terroir Wine Challenge. At $35, it is genuinely remarkable value for estate RRV Pinot.
TASTING NOTES
Wild strawberry, bright red fruit, and spice on the nose with an underlying vibrancy that defines the Sonoma Coast-influenced style. The palate is fresh and focused, driven by red fruit and fine-grained structure — the kind of Pinot that performs equally well with grilled salmon at a summer dinner or just off the chill.
